The Halal Inspection Institute (LPH) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang participated in the Halal Indo 2025 (Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo 2025), which took place from September 25–28, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang City. This participation is a strategic step for LPH UIN Malang to strengthen its role in supporting the development of the national and international halal ecosystem.
During the event, LPH UIN Malang opened a special booth that provided consultation services regarding the halal certification application process, assistance in implementing the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), and information on laboratory testing services. The presence of this booth received high enthusiasm from visitors from various groups, ranging from goods and services business actors, micro-scale to large companies, domestic buyers, and the general public who wanted to understand more about the importance of halal certification. 10056_lph2.jpeg Interestingly, not only domestic visitors, this event was also attended by representatives of halal consultants from abroad.
They expressed interest in establishing a strategic partnership with LPH UIN Malang, both in research, auditor capacity building, and international network development in the halal industry sector. This signifies the increasing opportunities for global collaboration for LPH UIN Malang as one of the most trusted halal inspection institutions in Indonesia. Through participation in Halal Indo 2025, LPH UIN Malang hopes to expand its contribution in supporting Indonesia's vision as a global halal industry hub, while strengthening synergies with business actors and international partners to jointly build a more inclusive and competitive halal ecosystem.
