Halal Inspection Institution (LPH) UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is a technical implementation unit established to support the government's program in realizing Halal Product Guarantee in Indonesia in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee (JPH).

LPH UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang was established in the year 2018 with the management structure stated in SK Rektor Number 2240/Un.3/HK.00.5/04/2018. On October 2022, LPH UIN Malang has been accredited as LPH Pratama who legally have the authority to carry out inspections and/or tests on the halal status of products from business actors who apply for halal certification.

Commitment to always uphold values APIK (Accountable, Professional, Integrity, and Competent) in providing services, LPH UIN Malang has succeeded in achieving accreditation status as Main LPH On February 2025 from BPJPH. This institution is supported by auditor team, sharia board, and laboratory experts from various scientific disciplines that enable the halal inspection approach to be carried out in a scientific, comprehensive, and based on integrative science.
