Kediri – The Halal Inspection Institute (LPH) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in collaboration with the Kediri City Trade and Industry Office (Disperdagin) successfully held a Halal Certification Socialization for Slaughtering Services on Friday, August 1, 2025.
This activity, attended by slaughtering service providers in the Kediri City area, aimed to provide a deeper understanding of regulations, procedures, and the importance of halal certification. Through this outreach, participants were equipped with knowledge about slaughtering procedures in accordance with Islamic law, halal standards, and applicable certification mechanisms.
LPH UIN Malang emphasized that halal certification is not only a regulatory obligation, but also part of an effort to provide halal assurance for consumers while increasing business competitiveness.
Through this activity, it is hoped that business owners will become more aware of the importance of halal certification and be prepared to undergo the certification process in accordance with applicable regulations.
