LPH UIN Malang and Disperdagin Kediri Hold Socialization on Halal Certification for Slaughtering Services

Kediri – The Halal Inspection Body (LPH) of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University (UIN) Malang, in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (Disperdagin) of Kediri City, successfully organized a Socialization on Halal Certification for Slaughtering Services on Friday, August 1, 2025. The event was attended by business practitioners in the slaughtering services sector across Kediri City, aiming to provide comprehensive understanding regarding regulations, procedures, and the importance of halal certification. Participants received insights on slaughtering practices in accordance with Islamic law, halal standards, and the applicable certification mechanisms. LPH UIN Malang emphasized that halal certification is not only a regulatory requirement but also an effort to ensure consumer confidence and strengthen business competitiveness. Through this program, it is expected that business practitioners will become more aware of the importance of halal certification and be ready to undergo the certification process in accordance with existing regulations.
