Malang_<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0LPH UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang recently conducted a management review (11-03-2026) to improve services.\u00a0APIK<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0(Accountable, Professional, Integrity, Competent) for business actors. This activity was held at Rayz UMM Hotel Malang and attended by all auditors and human resources in the sharia sector, with a series of presentations from each supervisory team aimed at evaluating and improving all internal work processes of LPH to be more effective and efficient, starting from the administration & finance supervisor, audit supervisor, quality supervisor, laboratory supervisor and cooperation supervisor.<\/p>

In her remarks, the Head of the LPH Division, Prilya Dewi Fitriasari, stated that this management review is an annual routine activity to discuss the findings of the previous year's internal audit and to implement corrective actions. The management review focuses on several key aspects, namely improving service quality, developing human resources for auditors and sharia human resources, and optimizing services.\u00a0HiLab<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0(Halal integrated laboratory). The results of this review are expected to serve as a reference and guideline for LPH in improving performance and providing better services to the public, particularly local, national, and international business actors.<\/p>

The Director of the Business Development Center (P2B), Dr. Su'ud Fuadi, M.HI., M.EI., who is the direct leader of the LPH, was also present to provide guidance and motivation to the LPH, stating that despite the current limited human resources, the LPH's performance is relatively good. However, because it has now become\u00a0Main LPH<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0Therefore, we must continue to strive to be better, provide good service to business actors and increase public trust. LPH can also add administrative personnel and add halal auditors so that more business actors can be served, the service process is faster but still of high quality so that it can compete with other LPHs and the hope is that in the future it will enter the top 10 LPHs with the best performance in Indonesia.<\/p>

Several efforts have been made by supervisors to improve LPH in the future and become the choice of the Indonesian people for halal certification. Quality supervisor Moh. Taufiq explained several recent issues regarding the implementation of the latest regulations that require LPH to assign auditors according to their scope of competence and not only look at evidence of training certificates held but also the suitability of the auditor's educational background with the scope of the product being audited. In addition, Taufiq added that in carrying out audit tasks, auditors must pay attention to the timeframe for completing reports because LPH is limited by\u00a0Service Level Agreement<\/em>\u00a0or known as (SLA) which is 15 working days, therefore auditors must really utilize the time in the process of completing the report while still paying attention to the quality of the audit results so that the halal certificate issued is truly of high quality.<\/p>

The Halal Inspection Institution (LPH) has made every effort to ensure that the halal certification process meets the SLA determined by BPJPH, therefore Mahrus Ismail as the audit supervisor said at this management review forum that several efforts have been made, including: 1) the determination of the audit schedule is carried out earlier by continuing to coordinate with supervisors and\/or business actors; 2) the audit schedule information provided to auditors has included the SLA period of less than how many days so that auditors can prepare everything so that the audit completion process is on time; 3) auditors are required to conduct a pre-assessment so that the onsite audit process runs more effectively and efficiently.<\/p>

At the end of the management review session, LPH provided an opportunity for auditors and Sharia HR to provide responses, input as well as suggestions for improvement and recommendations for future follow-up so that LPH becomes better than it is now. Moh. Taufiq as the Quality Supervisor has recorded all constructive input from the auditors and all input has been recorded in the minutes of the management review and will be followed up by management, LPH will continue to strive to consistently improve not only in terms of the quantity of business actors but also the achievement of quality halal certificates. In fact, quality is not a coincidence but a habit that is carried out continuously with sincere intentions and efforts and execution in accordance with the standards that have been made and agreed upon together, he concluded.<\/p>

With this management review, LPH hopes to improve better services and provide greater real contributions to UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, to the Indonesian community and the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
